KONG!

During the 70's, Paul and my favorite Cubbie was the notorious Dave Kingman (Kong) who would either homer or strike out. He was the first player ever to hit over 400 home runs and not eventually reach the Baseball Hall of Fame. His 3 home run game against the Dodgers caused Tommy Lasorda to lose it as evidenced by the infamous underground audio tape (which cannot be included here) when he was innocently asked "What do you think of Kingman's performance?"
