Do you love camera timers? I think we were in the middle of singing a famous dad line when the camera went off: "There you go, man. Keep as cool as you can. Face piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free..."
It's official. Today is my last home day. No more sun. No more perfect views. No more Young Mom. No more Pops. No more Sugah Man. No more Seanzirelli. No more making coasters in the shape of birdies with Baby Sister. I'm hoping that homecoming '09 occurs much sooner than homecoming '08 (I hadn't been home since LAST Christmas! Ridiculous.) Although I have about a month of vacay in between semesters, two of those precious weeks were spent here and the next two will be spent in the Big Apple working for Celerie Kemble (my summer internship employer).
To celebrate the last day, The Young Mom and I went to Verizon (boo!) to exchange my naughty-ever-breaking phone and then Sugah Man and I headed to The Stand in Laguna Beach--perhaps some of the best grub in the OC for some avocado sandwiches. Hmmm. I do want to try their lentil soup at some point...that just means an upcoming trip is needed (hint, hint parents!)
How fun! It was so great to have the family together this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI know right?! How about everyone come out East soon?
ReplyDeleteThis is cute. I like you two.
